January 26th - Educational Show - Repeat

As I sort of expected, Cramer was not "live" tonight. The clues to this? Well, when he was making his 5 foreign picks, he did 2 in one day which left 1 day free (today), and there was no stop trading today.

This repeat included a sneak peak of some of the rules from his (not-so) new book. This was first aired before the new book was released and of course has no stock picks that can be shorted.

Enjoy the weekend and lets hope for a better week of shortable picks next week!

I just wanted to put this idea out there to thoes of you who have been interacting on this blog. I just read the tech review article about a new batterie system thats suppose to be a game changer. It goes a lot longer and charges very quickly. Im trying to find out how to make some $$ off of this. The only way I see right now is through ZNN.V a canadian company that has rights to use this new technology in cars. I posted everying I know about this on http://www.investorvillage.com/groups.asp?mb=6879&pt=m If anyone wants to put in their two cents including cramertracker (especially) it would be welcomed.

Thanks for the heads up Green. Interesting article for sure. ZNN trades on the venture exchange here in Canada which is for very small compaines (I own another stock that trades on it). Here is the reason for the halt in trading:

FEEL GOOD CARS CORPORATION ("ZNN")
BULLETIN TYPE: Halt
BULLETIN DATE: January 18, 2007
TSX Venture Tier 2 Company

Effective at 6:58 a.m. PST, January 18, 2007, trading in the shares of the Company was halted at the request of the Company, pending an announcement; this regulatory halt is imposed by Market Regulation Services, the Market Regulator of the Exchange pursuant to the provisions of Section 10.9(1) of the Universal Market Integrity Rules.

You will have to cut and paste back together the link.

I can't seem to find any earnings and am reading through the press releases to see what I can find. The first one I read though is a recent share offering to pay down unsecured debt. The battery sounds like it could be a big deal, but hopefully they start making some deals with other companies. I think ZNN being near its 52-week high could come down a little and I don't think there is any huge rush since it doesn't look like this is going to happen quickly. I'm going to keep digging to see what I can find though. Certainly wouldn't hurt to own a few shares in the speculative portfolio :)

This may explain the lack of earnings figures...

Feel Good Cars Corporation ("FGC" or the "Company") is pleased to
announce that it has commenced delivery of production ZENN vehicles to its retailer network. The first ZENN shipments were delivered to several retailers late last week. The Company's initial allotment to retailers will be in showrooms of all current FGC retailers by the end of November 2006.

"The delivery of ZENN vehicles to our retailer network marks a
significant milestone for the Company. The ZENN is the first urban
all-electric vehicle in the market today that truly provides consumers with a 'no compromise' transportation solution." said Dennis Hancock, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Company.

"With significant interest for the ZENN in our key markets, these first
shipments will be a great reward for our retailers, including a number who placed their initial order for vehicles as far back as May of this year and who have reported many of the initial shipments being pre-sold to end customers." added Hancock.

The ZENN is a fully-featured 2 seat electric vehicle with all the
comfort of a conventional car. The hatchback design includes 13 cubic feet of covered, lockable storage space. With a quiet efficient electric motor, no oil changes or filters, and no emission tests or inspections, the ZENN lets you drive worry-free with a minimum of maintenance hassle and expense.

Wow, you where able to dig up a lot more information then me. It seems like getting in as they start to become profitable would be the right time, but since they are near their 52 week high it could also be that the good news is priced in. I may add a little here and see how this story unfolds. Thank you for your efforts, I will reciprocate when ever I can.

I tried to place an order to buy and I cant online...I have to call it in..sucks. They symble here in the USA is really friggen long too...its FGDCF. The comission is too high to buy a small possition so Im not sure if I will watch it untill I can buy a lot or what. Looks like it trades very low volume. Anyway...we will see.

I've got it on my screen as ZNN.VN. I was talking to a friend and apparently there is a movie/documentary coming out sometime soon about electric cars and how the big oil companies destroyed a bunch of brand new ones so that we would continue to use oil. I would be curious to see if/when this comes out the effect on the electric/hybrid industry....and ZNN stock price specifically. I'll try to do some digging to find out more...apparently there is a trailer for it.

So, let me get this straight. ZNN.V is the company in Canada that uses this battery technology in their car. The actual manufacturer of the batteries is a completley different company from Texas? I am able to purchase FGDCF from etrade.

FGDCF is the same as ZNN.V?

What is the name of the company who designs, manufactures the battery technology?

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (January 29, 2007 1:55 PM) :

Is it EEStor?

Blogger Unknown said ... (January 29, 2007 2:45 PM) :

Yes the company is EEstor. Thats the one I want to invest in but there is no direct way. Thats why Im looking into Zenn because they are the only ones I know of being able to use the new technology.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (January 29, 2007 2:49 PM) :

Looked everywhere for EEstor, but have found nothing in the way of a home page or ticker or anything.

Was able to buy some Feel Good stock though.

Thanks for the heads up on etrade. I placed an order there and it went through. I want to get a starter possition and then see how this stock develops. Whats weird is that it seems like just my order moved the stock because as as my order was executed it moved up 1%...lol could be coincidence.

Anonymous Anonymous said ... (January 29, 2007 3:12 PM) :

Volume is so low, it doesn't even register on my market caster.

Blogger Unknown said ... (January 29, 2007 3:13 PM) :

doesn't it just make you feel good to own a stock with a name of feel good motors...just feels like a good thing to do...ok sorry could not resist making some jokes with that name.

Looks like the Pentagon is going to sign a contract with multiple vendors for combat vehicles within the next few days. FRPT is down 2.40 today. I looked into each company and it seems that FRPT is the only land mine vehicle company in the bunch. General dynamics' amphibious vehicle has been put on hold for a few years and the Dod specified a larger interst in the land mine vehicles.
