April 25th - KO PEP CAKE

Cramer recommended Coca-Cola Co. (KO) and Pepsico, Inc. (PEP) and neither stock created much after hours buying, likely due to the size and somewhat boring picks. I'm not saying these are bad picks at all, but when you preface a segment talking about DOW 14,000 one would think of hearing about some stocks that might take off for a double, not some mega cap plays that normally get recommended during a market down trend.

Next, in Cramer's Private Equity Takeover Plays, he recommended Cheesecake Factory Inc. (CAKE)

Closing Price: $28.38
After Hours Most Recent: $29.49
Percent Increase at Most Recent Price: 3.9%
Sector: Services
Days to Cover: 12.5
Short %: 20.39 %
% Held by Insiders: 6.48 %
% Held by Institutions: 87.60 %
50 Day Moving Average: $26.92
200 Day Moving Average: $26.20

The stock was up 9% today off a strong earnings report. Cramer also said that in this type of market, a stock that is up big one day is likely to be up again the next day. Given the short percentage in the stock and the general positive mood of the market this might be one to stay away from tomorrow. Obviously the bands have no meaning here, except for the fact the price is well above the top band at $27.62. If one were to go against the tide here and consider a short it might be worth waiting between 5 and 10 minutes after the opening bell to see if the stock has risen above tonight's price since this is a recent trend with Cramer's picks. These delayed jumps have resulted in some nice drops quickly after.
